Lesson 18, Physics Video 2

Post by ArielM » Sat May 19, 2018 6:31 pm

On Slide 9, there is an optics worksheet about Ray Diagrams. On the second row, below the axis of symmetry before the lens, there is a line drawn indicated as Omega. There is another line in front of the lens labeled V. What do these two symbols, omega and V mean? Also, could someone please respond to the previous post, Lesson 5 Video 3? Thank you.

Sincerely,

Could the line labeled as lowercase "Omega" (ω) mean the object distance from the Y axis, and the v= the image distance from the vertical axis?
